How to start a sequence automatically using Zapier

Note: This Zap requires 3 steps (1 trigger and 2 actions).

Due to Zapier's recent changes, this is no longer possible to set up on a free Zapier account unless the Zapier account is upgraded to a paid account. 

How to set up:

If you already have Zapier integration set up, you can skip to step 3.

1. Go to Settings -> Add-ons -> click "Generate API key"

Copy the Private API key and keep a note of it.

2. Go to Zapier.com and sign up for a paid account (for Multi-step Zaps).  

3.  Create a zap -> select the trigger (example: When a Google Sheet gets updated)

Then add two actions: "Create Prospect" and "Start Sequence" to automatically start a sequence on a prospect as soon as the prospect is created.

The last action should be Start Sequence and the email field should be filled with the same email field from your trigger.

Testing the Zap:

To test the set up, you can initiate the trigger manually (example: add prospects to the spreadsheet you've set as the trigger). 
From Zapier home - > Zaps, run the zap manually and you should see if the results were successful.
