Conditions allow you to control what variation a Prospect receives when they enter a Step.
Conditions can be based on a number of factors—number of previous opens, Tags, clicks, and so on. It allows for sending just the right message to Prospects as needed.
How to add a Condition
While looking at the Steps of a Campaign, use the three dots in the top-right corner of a Variation, and use the Edit Condition menu item:
From there, choose the sort of Condition you'd like to add:
Click on the sort of Condition that should be added to the Variation, and you'll be presented with the options there:
If you want a particular email variation to only allow prospects who clicked a link in any of the previous emails, you can add a condition for clicks with Min clicks = 1.
Example: If an email variation that only allows prospects who clicked at least once was added, create another email variation that only allows prospects who did not click. This is to ensure that you won't get any aborted prospects.
